Overload Part II

I'm trying to catch up but it is quite the challenge.  Here is an update of my progress. I'm realizing that it is taking quite a bit more time than usual and am half tempted to only cut what I really need as I normally do.  BUUUUTTT I am learning that I do have to cut every coupon if I really want to save the most money!  This mostly applies to my now favorite store CVS!  Weekly, I am seeing great deals and by each deal, a coupon is listed that will help you earn even more ecb's.  Of course, I have been lazy and don't cut out every coupon and kick myself when I realize that though it is not an item I need, I could pick it up with the coupon and ecb's and earn even more!  Oh how many deals I have had to let go because I didn't cut the coupon.   So our new challenge is to keep ALL the coupons, you never know how it may help you out later.  Plus, with all the wonderful things you are getting free that you don't use, you can donate them!

As Sara mentioned, rain checks are an amazing thing!  Always pick them up if the item you need is not in stock.  For most items a rain check is good for 30 days.  I have even heard of people picking up rain checks if the item is in stock, but they don't have a coupon.  Then, when they get the coupon they use the rain check.  Not sure how "legal" this is, but this could be a lifesaver if you need something and it is not going to be on-sale again for awhile.  Also, if the item does not come in stock during the sale or when you have the raincheck, you can always check with a manager, sometimes they will give a larger quantity of that item for the price of the cheaper it is in stock!
